BABOK® Guide v3

Insights | 13 March 2015

The future of Business Analysis is here on 15 April 2015 with A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® version 3 (BABOK® Guide v3). The IIBA have responded to the global need for a more strategic approach to business analysis, by incorporating new perspectives on:

  • Agile
  • Business Intelligence
  • Information Technology
  • Business Architecture
  • Business Process Management

This approach will allow Business Analysts in all industries, in project teams or not, to benefit from the tools and techniques of BABOK® Guide v3.

As one of the leading companies in Australia championing Business Analysis, PM-Partners has committed to building a team of Business Analysis consultants to incorporate BABOK Guide v3 tools, techniques, concepts and perspectives into our current course offerings. In addition, we will offer new courses and insights on the new and re-modeled BABOK® Guide v3.

In doing so, we will also execute our projects using the Business Analysis Core Concept Model™ (BACCM) and delve into the new techniques offered in the new version. Our team is dedicated to understanding the new version, and will quickly size up the benefits to our clients.

Soon after the release of BABOK® Guide v3, the IIBA® will announce the new competency and certification levels. Our experts will work with these competencies and certifications to create IIBA®-endorsed preparation courses and frameworks – destined to be world-class.

As the BABOK® Guide v3 is released to the world, know that PM-Partners is there, leading the way.
